About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a customer-facing environment within the Volvo Trucks Customer Experience Center. You will work on practical projects while gaining exposure to product marketing professionals and the broader Volvo Group. You will also complete a presentation on your project results for upper-level management.
What you'll do#
- Manage event planning for the Customer Center.
- Perform graphic design work involving customer logos.
- Plan and support event logistics.
- Host both customer and internal events.
- Coordinate with in-house and third-party vendors.
- Interface with the management team and network with other professionals.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Event Management, Hotel and Tourism Management, or a related field.
- Completion of at least 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.75/4.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Adobe applications, Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
- Power BI experience is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
- High level of dependability, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to handle changing priorities and tasks.
