About the role#
VisitorsCoverage is hiring an Office Administrator Intern to work with our team in Santa Clara. This internship offers hands-on experience with daily business operations, administrative support, and HR processes. You will work in a professional environment and collaborate with our General Administration and HR teams. This is a part-time, entry-level position for Summer 2026.
What you'll do#
- Provide organized support for daily administrative and clerical tasks across the company.
- Assist employees, clients, candidates, and visitors with a professional and helpful approach.
- Plan and coordinate employee events, lunches, and celebrations, including managing logistics and vendor communication.
- Support onboarding and offboarding by preparing equipment, coordinating system access, and updating employee records.
- Manage office inventory, monitor supply levels, and ensure shared spaces remain clean and functional.
- Handle mail and package operations, including shipping, deliveries, and occasional administrative errands.
- Provide first-level IT support, such as device setup, hardware inventory tracking, and basic troubleshooting.
- Assist with insurance licensing administration, research projects, and administrative tasks for the leadership team.
What you'll need#
- Minimum of a high school diploma.
- Currently enrolled in college or have completed college coursework, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Communications.
- Prior experience in an office, administrative, or customer-facing role is preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Technical aptitude and comfort using computers, including Google Workspace.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. We do not offer visa sponsorship for this role.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Santa Clara, California.
- The schedule is Monday through Thursday, up to 25 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship.
