About the role#
VisitorsCoverage is seeking an Office Administrator Intern to support daily business operations and administrative functions. This role offers hands-on experience in office management, human resources, and business operations within an insurance technology environment. This is a part-time, entry-level position designed for students or individuals seeking professional development.
What you'll do#
- Provide organized, timely, and detail-oriented support for daily office administrative and clerical functions.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of employee events, lunches, and outings, including vendor logistics and communication.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes by preparing equipment, managing system access, and updating employee records.
- Deliver professional and responsive assistance to employees, clients, candidates, and visitors.
- Provide first-level IT and equipment support, including device setup, hardware inventory tracking, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain office systems, shared spaces, and inventory levels to ensure a functional workplace.
- Manage daily mail and package operations, including shipping and occasional administrative errands.
- Assist with insurance licensing administration, research assignments, and special projects for leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current college student or degree candidate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Communications.
- Minimum of a high school diploma.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in an office, administrative, or customer-facing role is preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Technical aptitude with a willingness to learn new software and IT support tasks.
Location & details#
- Location: Santa Clara, California.
- Modality: Fully on-site.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, up to 25 hours per week.
- Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
