About the role#
This internship takes place within the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Division. You will work alongside teams that provide community-based services to individuals with mental health conditions and behavioral health needs. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in human services and social work while observing the day-to-day life of mental health professionals.

What you'll need#
- You must be currently earning college credit and working toward a degree in psychology, sociology, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with virtual conferencing tools like Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Cultural sensitivity, compassion, and a desire to learn.
- A high level of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Reliability and flexibility.
- You must be willing to sign and follow a non-disclosure agreement.
- You must be able to pass a CORI and a multistate background check.

- This position is based in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
- The role is on-site.
- This is a paid internship starting at $18.00 per hour.
- The term is rolling, with typical internships lasting 3 to 6 months.
