About the role#
The Tech Sales Thermal Application Engineer Intern supports sales representatives and customers by providing technical guidance on thermal management products. This role acts as a bridge between field operations and internal departments, including engineering, offering management, and order management. You will assist in providing technical product information, pricing for custom features, and equipment selection.
What you'll do#
- Provide comprehensive sales support using the Quote Configurator tool.
- Perform equipment performance runs on thermal management systems.
- Develop clear and technically sound solutions based on customer requirements and requests for proposals.
- Review custom equipment orders and provide technical instruction throughout the order workflow.
- Execute technical sales operations tasks, including change order and engineer to order (ETO) processing.
- Assist offering managers with product support and participate in new product development projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Office and fluency in English, including technical terminology.
- Understanding of commercial infrastructure design objectives, performance factors, and physical requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and one-line diagrams is preferred.
- Prior commercial or relevant industry experience is preferred.
