About the role#
This is a full-time, career-track internship for students or recent graduates in Accounting who want to gain experience at the intersection of tax and AI. You will work alongside the tax team to perform preparation work while gaining exposure to automation tools used in modern compliance workflows. High performance may lead to future full-time opportunities upon degree completion and progress toward CPA licensure.
What you'll do#
- Prepare federal and state tax returns across a variety of entity types including 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120S, 1120, and 990.
- Organize and review client tax documents for accuracy and completeness, resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Assist with data cleanup and workpaper preparation using Excel.
- Learn and use automation tools to support compliance workflows and reduce manual entry.
- Maintain client data to ensure it is organized and filing-ready for the senior team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting.
- Clear intent to sit for the CPA exam and obtain licensure.
- Proficiency in Excel and Adobe Acrobat, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on recurring tasks.
- Full-time availability Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or professional tax software such as CCH Axcess is a plus.
