About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term based in Plano, Texas. You will work on-site at our corporate headquarters to support our enterprise application teams. The program is designed to provide exposure to supply chain, finance, and accounting systems while exploring how AI can improve business operations.
What you'll do#
- Learn the end-to-end supply chain lifecycle, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
- Document current business processes, identify operational challenges, and recommend improvements.
- Partner with technology teams to support application enhancements and process optimization.
- Help document system requirements and issues for finance and accounting applications.
- Support the testing and implementation of minor software enhancements.
- Assist with AI initiatives, including workflow automation, data analysis, and prompt engineering.
- Coordinate projects by tracking status, gathering information, and facilitating meetings with stakeholders.
- Collaborate across departments including supply chain, finance, data, and technology.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor or master degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Accounting.
- Expected graduation date between May 2027 and May 2028.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership through academics, athletics, military service, or extracurriculars.
- Familiarity with data analysis, reporting tools, or collaboration platforms is helpful.
- Prior internship experience in business analysis, technology, or data analytics is preferred.
- Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, or AI tools is a plus.
