About the role#
This is a year-round, paid internship providing transactional support across various business areas, including operations, strategy, project management, and stakeholder engagement. You will gain professional experience in the insurance industry while working in a hybrid environment. This position requires a minimum 9-month commitment and availability to work at least 15 hours per week during regular business hours (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm), with the potential to work up to 40 hours during school breaks.
What you'll do#
- Provide high-quality transactional support with a focus on productivity, accuracy, and customer service.
- Develop effective partnerships and collaborate across various departments.
- Work as a team player by backing up peers, addressing conflict constructively, and engaging in feedback.
- Adhere strictly to all privacy guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or as opportunities arise.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited 4-year college degree program or an MBA program, with a preference for those who have completed at least 2 years of coursework.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 (major or overall).
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Strong customer service focus, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Majoring in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Marketing.
