About the role#
This is a paid, year-round internship based in Columbia, South Carolina. You will gain experience in a professional office setting while supporting business operations, project management, and stakeholder engagement. This role requires a minimum nine-month commitment and availability to work at least 15 hours per week during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. You may work up to 40 hours per week during school breaks.
What you'll do#
- Provide transactional support to business areas with a focus on productivity, accuracy, and customer service.
- Build and maintain effective partnerships across various departments.
- Work as a team player by backing up peers, addressing conflict, and participating in feedback sessions.
- Follow strict privacy guidelines for all data and documentation.
- Complete assigned tasks and projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited four-year college degree program or an MBA program.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher in your major or overall.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- An openness to mastering new tasks and business processes.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a high-production environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
