About the role#
As the Student Marketing Coordinator, your primary focus is creating content for Business Enterprise units at the University of Wyoming. You will work autonomously and collaborate with our team to brainstorm concepts that align with our goals. While we provide office space with an iMac, your time is best spent on campus actively creating content. We are looking for a current student who stays current with social media trends and wants to showcase the university experience.
What you'll do#
- Implement marketing and social media strategies while collaborating with department stakeholders.
- Manage our presence on Facebook and Instagram with a consistent posting schedule.
- Partner with campus dining to improve brand visibility and promote events or specials.
- Gather feedback on student preferences regarding dining locations and products.
- Help the team amplify event promotion through social media and newsletters.
- Track key performance indicators to assess the impact of your initiatives and report on results.
- Provide graphic design assistance when needed.
What you'll need#
- Proven creativity and proficiency with social media platforms.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- An ability to connect well with students and department personnel.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, which must be maintained during your employment.
- Availability for 15 to 20 hours per week.

- This is an on-site, part-time position located in Laramie, Wyoming.
- This role is paid.
