About the role#
The Athletics Ticket Office Student Worker provides support to the University of Wyoming Athletics department. This role involves assisting donors, fans, and alumni during the work week and at ticketed game day events. The position is expected to last through the summer of 2026 and can continue into the 2026-2027 school year.
What you'll do#
- Provide high level customer service to donors, fans, and alumni.
- Handle inbound phone calls and solicit sales.
- Process ticket orders during the work week.
- Sell tickets for university events including football, basketball, volleyball, and wrestling.
- Work approximately 10 hours per week.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of intricate computer programs.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
- Cash handling experience and clerical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to comprehend instructions and procedures.
- Preferred: Previous customer service experience in a point of sale or inbound phone environment.
