About the role#
The University Controller's Office and Student Accounting Services are hiring a student assistant to provide administrative support. This position is open to students currently enrolled at the University of South Florida who have been awarded Federal Work Study for the 2026-2027 school year.
What you'll do#
- Assist students and families with account inquiries over the phone and in person.
- Perform data entry and maintain shared email inboxes.
- Index and scan documents.
- Handle general clerical duties and special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A valid Federal Work Study award for the 2026-2027 school year.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information responsibly.
- Dependability and punctuality.
Location & details#
- Location: Tampa, Florida.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Work hours must not conflict with your class schedule. You must provide a copy of your class schedule and your FWS award upon application.
