About the role#
The Student Involvement Coordinator organizes, administers, and evaluates programs that meet the social and holistic needs of students. This is a full-time staff position that focuses on student engagement and campus life.
What you'll do#
- Maintain accurate participation and financial records for sponsored programs.
- Develop marketing plans and publicity through various media forms.
- Advise and train an inclusive group of peer mentors.
- Create strategies to increase involvement in student organizations.
- Plan and deliver educational seminars and workshops for campus organizations, housing, and academic classes.
- Coordinate risk management training and orientation to ensure student organizations follow laws and university policies.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three years of related experience in event coordination.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
