About the role#
The Student Employment Administrator joins the Employment Services and Systems unit within the Experiential Learning Hub. This position coordinates the recruitment process for co-op programs, supporting thousands of students and employers. You will work on-site to manage interview logistics, offer processing, and data administration to ensure the smooth operation of the co-op hiring cycle.
What you'll do#
- Manage the co-op offer process and guide employers on using the Experience Guelph Rank and Offer module.
- Serve as the primary contact for external employers during on-campus interviews.
- Oversee co-op interviews, providing day-of support and resolving scheduling conflicts.
- Process annual job confirmations and re-appointments.
- Review co-op work records for completion and update student work information based on data integrity standards.
What you'll need#
- A two-year Community College Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least one year of related administrative experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Office 365.
- Experience working with systems and databases.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.

- This is a full-time, temporary position covering the period from September 2026 through October 2027.
