About the role#
The Squamish Student Housing Intern role provides professional development for undergraduate students interested in tourism and hospitality management. Reporting to the Manager of Short Term Accommodation, you will support daily operations at the Squamish campus. This position offers hands-on experience in areas such as reservations, event coordination, housekeeping, and front desk guest relations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the coordination and execution of summer conference operations.
- Support the management of housing assignments, check-in and check-out processes, and general guest services.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues related to accommodations.
- Collaborate with team members to assist with event logistics, housing setup, and maintenance coordination.
- Contribute to the development of guest service materials, including information packets and signage.
What you'll need#
- You must be in good academic standing with a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- Your record must be free of notations regarding student conduct or outstanding fees.
- Domestic students must maintain a minimum of 6 credits at Capilano University.
- International students must maintain a minimum of 9 credits and hold a valid Study Permit.
- You must be able to maintain confidentiality in accordance with FOIPOP regulations.

- This role is located in North Vancouver, British Columbia.
- The position is on-site and part-time.
- The term runs from Fall 2026 through Winter 2027.
- This is a paid position.
