About the role#
University Enterprises, Inc. is hiring two student assistants to work within the Client Technology Services unit. You will support Information Technology systems under the supervision of the Client Technology Services Supervisor. This is a part-time, temporary position based in West Sacramento.
What you'll do#
- Configure personal computers and various hardware setups.
- Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 systems, printers, and iOS mobile devices.
- Organize, track, and document hardware inventory and storage.
- Update program documentation, job aids, and Knowledge Articles.
- Maintain SharePoint documentation.
- Manage statistics and performance metrics using Excel.
- Process forms and keep accurate records.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student at an accredited institution.
- Undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least six-semester units or nine quarter units. Graduate students need at least four-semester units or six quarter units.
- Majors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or similar fields.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with a focus on Word and Excel.
- Ability to write clearly for business and technical purposes.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- A dependable, organized, and detail-oriented approach to work.
Location & details#
- Location: West Sacramento, California.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Flexible hours between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday, based on your school schedule.
- Employment Status: Part-time, non-benefited.
