About the role#
This position focuses on transitioning healthcare students and graduates into the workforce. You will work directly with students, faculty, and healthcare employers to bridge the gap between classroom education and professional employment. This is a results-driven role that requires balancing individual coaching with active business development.
What you'll do#
- Coach students and graduates on resumes, job-search strategies, interviewing, networking, and professional communication.
- Build relationships with healthcare employers to generate externship and direct-hire opportunities.
- Connect graduates with job openings, interviews, and employer introductions.
- Lead job-readiness workshops, classroom presentations, and career events.
- Manage a student caseload, maintain consistent follow-up, and help candidates overcome employment barriers.
- Track employer outreach, student engagement, and employment outcomes in company systems.
- Partner with faculty and campus leadership to improve graduate placement results.
What you'll need#
- At least five years of combined experience in career services, recruiting, staffing, workforce development, or related fields.
- At least two years of direct experience in coaching, advising, placement, or relationship management.
- Strong follow-through and the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
- Comfort working with performance metrics, databases, and detailed documentation.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though relevant experience will be considered.
