About the role#
This 12-week internship provides an immersive look at the Client Experience (CX) team at United Wholesale Mortgage. You will work alongside a cohort of approximately 200 interns, gaining exposure to senior leadership and networking across the company. The program focuses on building relationships and delivering service through specialized divisions like Client Outreach, Speech Analytics, and CX Analytics.
What you'll do#
- Gain insights into the various divisions within the CX team.
- Develop expertise in our products, services, and technologies.
- Program speech analytics and build reporting for business lanes regarding conversational analytics.
- Audit and analyze CX metrics across multiple business units and provide feedback.
- Analyze client request reporting.
- Build CX training material.
- Apply your skills to improve processes and enhance workflows.
- Share ideas, provide suggestions, and drive changes.
- Design and present business initiatives to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current student graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 2027 or 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Communications, Human Resources, Psychology, or a relevant field.
- Ability to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday.
- A strong work ethic and a drive to succeed.
- Openness to learning, a willingness to be coached, and the ability to be flexible.
- Capability to thrive in a team environment.

- This role is fully on-site in Pontiac, Michigan.
- The internship term is Summer 2027, running from May 17th to August 6th.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
