About the role#
This 12-week internship provides hands-on experience in facility management and building operations. You will work directly with the Building Operations Team to maintain and optimize the physical environment of our campus. The program includes job shadowing, access to senior leaders, and networking with a large group of fellow interns.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to chiller systems in the Central Plant.
- Assist with building envelope maintenance.
- Work with the Energy Star Platform.
- Learn about electrical continuity.
- Monitor and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems to ensure performance.
- Provide logistical support for company meetings, events, and conferences.
- Manage equipment arrangement, setup, and space readiness.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program, specifically in Mechanical Engineering, Climate Control, or HVAC systems.
- Expected graduation date in 2027 or 2028 (current junior or senior status).
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Flexibility, a willingness to be coached, and an openness to learning.
