About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship with SourceBlue at Turner Construction Company offers hands-on experience in supply chain operations. You will work with the business team to coordinate information for products and services. The role involves a mix of office-based tasks, data management, and site visits to observe construction processes and manufacturing tests.
What you'll do#
- Support supply chain heat mapping, vendor database management, and equipment tracking.
- Assist with project closeout processes, including preparing final records like warranties and as-builts.
- Evaluate project information for compliance with contract documents.
- Maintain master procurement data such as pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and analyze business reports and estimates for vendor changes.
- Visit project sites to observe product quality and placement.
- Attend Factory Witness Tests at manufacturer locations to learn about product development.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university degree program.
- Preferred majors include Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- At least two years of completed education or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to manage information accurately and communicate clearly in verbal and written formats.
- Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive approach to new projects and flexibility with work assignments.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills through leadership, volunteerism, or community involvement.
- Ability to ask questions and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
