About the role#
This is a Summer 2027 internship based in Houston, Texas. You will work with the SourceBlue team to support the coordination and distribution of products and services. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Support supply chain heat mapping, vendor database management, resiliency systems, and equipment tracking.
- Assist with the project closeout process, including preparing final records like warranties and as-builts.
- Evaluate project information to ensure compliance with contract documents.
- Maintain master procurement data such as pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules through data entry.
- Prepare and analyze business reports and estimates for vendor changes.
- Visit project sites to observe product quality and placement.
- Visit manufacturers to observe Factory Witness Tests and learn about product development.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university degree program, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing your time effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on accurate documentation.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to listen actively.
- A proactive approach to new projects and the flexibility to adapt to changing assignments.
- Willingness to take personal responsibility for your work and learn about company operations.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills through leadership, volunteerism, or community involvement.
