About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work with the SourceBlue team in Austin. You will support supply chain operations, including heat mapping, vendor database management, and equipment tracking. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support supply chain resiliency systems and equipment tracking.
- Assist with project closeout processes, including preparing final records like warranties and as-builts.
- Evaluate project information for contract compliance.
- Maintain master procurement data such as pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and analyze business reports and estimates for vendor changes.
- Visit project sites to observe product quality and placement.
- Visit manufacturers to witness factory tests and learn about product specifications.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university, ideally in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- At least two years of completed education or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage information accurately and document processes.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to ask questions, prioritize tasks, and work independently or in a team.
- Proactive approach to new projects and flexibility with work assignments.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills through leadership, volunteerism, or community involvement.

- This role involves occasional travel to project sites and manufacturing facilities. You must be able to navigate construction environments, which may include climbing stairs or ladders and working around moving mechanical parts.
