About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in San Antonio, Texas. You will work with the SourceBlue team to support supply chain operations, procurement data management, and project closeout processes. This role requires on-site attendance and involves occasional travel to project sites and manufacturing facilities.
What you'll do#
- Support supply chain heat mapping, vendor database maintenance, resiliency systems, and equipment tracking.
- Assist with the project closeout process, including preparing final records and verifying compliance with contract documents.
- Perform data entry to maintain master procurement information such as pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules.
- Help prepare and analyze business reports and estimates related to vendor changes.
- Visit project sites to observe product quality and installation.
- Observe Factory Witness Tests at manufacturer locations to learn about product development and specifications.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Ability to work independently or within a team, while managing your time effectively and asking for prioritization when needed.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on accurate documentation.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills and active listening habits.
- A proactive approach to new projects and a willingness to adapt to changing work assignments.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills through activities like student leadership or community involvement.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs or ladders and navigating construction sites, as well as lifting up to 25 pounds.
