About the role#
Turner Construction Company is hiring an Information Services Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Toledo or Lima, Ohio. You will work with the Information Services (IS) Services & Support team to assist with system maintenance, data workflows, and cybersecurity protocols. Depending on your assignment, you may work from a main office or an active construction project site.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with imaging hardware, installing software, and setting up jobsite technology.
- Create and update documentation for IS inventory, project sites, and system user guides.
- Track and maintain IS assets including hardware, software licenses, and network devices.
- Resolve support tickets and provide timely responses to inquiries.
- Test and validate new software updates or system configurations.
- Collaborate on IS projects like system upgrades and technology implementations.
- Research emerging technologies and best practices to suggest improvements.
- Prepare materials for training sessions and assist with user education.
- Maintain professional relationships with employees, clients, and subcontractors.
- Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment on construction sites.
- Provide regular progress reports to your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university degree program, or a Co-op program.
- At least one year of completed education or equivalent experience.
- You must be 18 years of age to work at a construction site.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer data entry skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and manuals.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, curious approach to learning new systems.
- Ability to work standard business hours and overtime when necessary.
- Access to reliable transportation.
