About the role#

What you'll do#
- Support daily financial management tasks, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger work.
- Assist with month-end processes, including budget analysis, cost tracking, and variance reporting.
- Review billing details to ensure they align with client contract requirements.
- Validate project cost coding and verify subcontractor or vendor account statuses.
- Use AI-enabled tools and data analytics to improve financial reporting and workflow efficiency.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and presentations for management.
- Participate in training sessions, project site visits, and team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- A solid grasp of accounting fundamentals and an interest in construction accounting.
- Ability to manage your time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to learn company financial policies, including data governance and reporting standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
