About the role#
Turner Construction Company is hiring a Finance Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will report to the accounting team and provide financial support to profit centers by assisting with general ledger tasks, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
What you'll do#
- Process accounts payable for vendor and subcontractor invoices.
- Ensure all applicable lien waivers, contracts, and insurance requirements are met.
- Assist with the monthly close process by ensuring project costs and client bills are posted or accrued.
- Prepare multi-project invoices for distribution.
- Help compile supporting invoice backup for owner applications for payment.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests.
- Handle administrative tasks such as vendor setup, sales and use tax reporting, and managing client tax-exempt certificates.

- Current enrollment in a Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration program.
- Ability to apply academic knowledge to professional tasks.
