About the role#
TRUMPF is seeking an intern for our Product Management department in Farmington, Connecticut. This role focuses on automating workflows, streamlining operations, and developing process documentation. You will gain practical experience by working on projects that directly influence business operations while receiving mentorship from our team. This is a paid, on-site internship.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and deploy automation workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
- Assist in creating SAP Build Apps automations to support business operations.
- Develop detailed process maps for SAP-related workflows.
- Document and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various business processes.
- Support process improvement initiatives by collaborating with team members and process owners.
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing automation solutions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Power Automate, SAP Build Apps, or similar automation tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Interest in manufacturing, specifically 2D laser cutting machine tools, is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Farmington, Connecticut (On-site).
- Term: January 2027 through August 2027.
- Schedule: At least 24 hours per week.
