About the role#
The Truist Securities Summer Associate Program is a 10-week internship designed for MBA students. You will join the Energy Group in Houston, Texas, for the summer of 2027. This program offers hands-on experience in corporate finance and investment banking through on-the-job training, networking socials, and team-building projects. Successful participants may be eligible for a full-time offer upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Sharpen financial analysis skills and deepen your understanding of corporate markets.
- Create and review in-depth financial models for transactions.
- Support internal and external clients while participating in new business development.
- Conduct due diligence and execute transactions.
- Draft internal and external documents, including marketing materials.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities, then present findings to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with attorneys, investors, and senior professionals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program with a graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- At least 3 years of prior work experience.
- Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to understand complex financial products.
- A preference for candidates with a Finance concentration or a background in financial services.
