About the role#
This internship supports a pilot program focused on improving home safety and reducing fall risks for 100 to 300 senior households. You will work directly with the Founder and CEO to help build and measure the effectiveness of this initiative, which combines community health impact with business strategy and employer-sponsored wellness programs.
What you'll do#
- Support communication with participating households.
- Collect and organize data before and after home modifications.
- Assist in tracking fall-risk indicators and reporting outcomes.
- Conduct basic data analysis and prepare executive summaries.
- Research and support outreach to potential partners, including public health departments, nonprofits, and senior service organizations.
- Develop outreach materials such as emails, call scripts, and one-pagers.
- Coordinate partnership meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items.
- Help develop presentation materials and proposals for corporate clients.
- Coordinate pilot-related collaboration activities, such as community events and volunteer programs.
- Summarize partner feedback to improve program design.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration, or Data Science.
- Interest in healthcare strategy, community health, or data analytics.
- Ability to dedicate 15 to 20 hours per week over a 12 to 16-week term.
- Availability to perform field activities in the North Dallas area, as these tasks account for approximately 85% of the role.

- Location: Flower Mound, Texas (Hybrid).
- Compensation: $16 to $20 per hour based on experience.
- This is a paid, part-time position.
