About the role#
We are looking for a Business Development Intern to support partnership growth and market execution in the senior care sector. This role focuses on learning partner offerings, building target lists, and conducting outreach to senior care channels. You will report directly to the CEO and gain experience in startup execution, market validation, and healthcare-adjacent services.
What you'll do#
- Learn the value propositions and use cases for partner products and services.
- Build target lists across senior-focused channels like assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and home health agencies.
- Conduct outreach to potential partners through cold calling, email, and in-person walk-in visits.
- Track outreach activity and meetings in an organized format.
- Report market observations and field feedback to the CEO, including common objections and effective messaging.
- Identify and nurture referral relationships to support families interested in home safety and fall-risk services.
- Assist with the creation of sales collateral and summary reports.
What you'll need#
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Comfort making outbound calls and speaking with professionals in person.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize information clearly.
- A valid driver license and reliable transportation for local outreach in the DFW area.
- Ability to work independently and provide regular progress updates.

- This is a hybrid, part-time, paid internship based in Flower Mound, Texas.
- The role involves a mix of remote work and field-based outreach in the DFW area.
