About the role#
This Business Development Internship focuses on partnership development and go-to-market execution within the senior care market. You will work directly with the CEO to learn partner products, build target lists, and identify referral opportunities. This role is designed for individuals interested in business development, market validation, and startup execution.
What you'll do#
- Learn and understand partner products, services, value propositions, and target customers.
- Research and build target lists across senior-focused channels, including assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, geriatric physicians, and home care agencies.
- Conduct outreach to target accounts through cold calling, appointment setting, email, and in-person walk-in visits.
- Track outreach activity, responses, and meeting metrics in an organized format.
- Report field feedback and market observations to the CEO regarding messaging effectiveness and common barriers to adoption.
- Assist with the creation of presentation materials, sales collateral, and summary reports.
- Identify and nurture referral relationships with senior care channels to support home safety and fall-risk services.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Comfort making outbound calls and speaking with professionals in person.
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize information clearly.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local outreach in the DFW area.
- Current enrollment in a degree program such as Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology, Public Health, or Health Administration.
