TruBlue of Flower Mound is seeking a Research & Operations Intern to support the Senior Fall Risk Reduction Initiative. This program focuses on identifying home-based fall hazards and building a data-driven model to support aging-in-place. This is a part-time, research-focused position ideal for students or graduates interested in public health, healthcare administration, gerontology, nursing, or related fields.
What you'll do#
- Organize FRI assessment records, including photos, risk factors, and follow-up notes.
- Maintain a structured database of assessment results and classify common home safety risks.
- Research potential medical advisors, PT/OT professionals, and community organizations, creating contact lists and summarizing candidate relevance.
- Assist with scheduling FRI assessments and preparing customer-facing assessment summaries.
- Support the development of a Senior Fall Risk Reduction White Paper by organizing data, findings, and drafting charts or case summaries.
- Assist with outreach preparation and follow-up communication.
What you'll need#
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize information clearly and consistently.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, Google Docs/Word, and online research tools.
- Good written English communication skills.
- A strong interest in senior care, public health, healthcare, aging-in-place, or occupational/physical therapy.
- Preferred: Current student or graduate in Public Health, Nursing, Health Administration, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Business Administration.

- Location: Flower mound, Texas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Part-time, 10–15 hours per week.
- Term: Rolling.
- Compensation: Paid (hourly or stipend-based).
