About the role#
Trex Company is looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 program. You will work in an industrial environment and collaborate with engineers and production operations personnel. This role requires the ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment while on site.
What you'll do#
- Lead and support continuous improvement efforts within manufacturing to drive operational excellence.
- Participate in CI Events, also known as Kaizens.
- Identify and eliminate waste in production processes.
- Assist CI Engineers with various routing tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering program.
- Completion of at least two semesters of coursework.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Comfort working with computers in a manufacturing setting.
