About the role#
Trex Company is looking for a Supply Chain Intern for our Summer 2027 program. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Winchester, Virginia. You will gain practical experience by working directly within our distribution facility.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through key areas of the distribution facility, including shipping, inventory control, receiving, and kitting production.
- Support distribution projects by creating process maps, performing time studies, and using lean tools.
- Analyze data to identify and present opportunities for process improvements.
- Work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams while receiving mentorship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Bachelor degree program for Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Transportation, or Industrial Engineering.
- Status as an upcoming junior or senior with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Vizio.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
