About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work within our Information Technology department. You will support Trex employees with their technology needs and partner with IT colleagues and business experts to define and drive digital capabilities.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support to end users and assist in troubleshooting technology issues.
- Develop new features while incorporating feedback from team members and clients.
- Maintain and upgrade legacy components to modern standards.
- Collaborate with team members during design reviews.
- Gather and compile business requirements, perform gap analysis, and design solutions.
- Simulate business processes to test proposed solutions.
- Install and upgrade software and applications.
What you'll need#
- Active pursuit of a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong computer skills and a desire to learn.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to solve problems accurately and efficiently.
