About the role#
Trex Company is hiring a Research & Development Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Winchester, Virginia. You will work alongside our engineering team to support product development and quality control processes.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data from dimensional measurement equipment used for profile extrusion.
- Set up color measurement equipment for quality control tasks.
- Support product testing to meet building code requirements, including internal and third-party lab testing.
- Conduct first-article inspections of supplied components.
- Assist engineers with daily tasks, including data collection and reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering program.
- Completion of at least two semesters of coursework.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
