About the role#
This internship offers a hands-on introduction to technical sales within the industrial machinery manufacturing sector. During this 12-week summer program, you will gain exposure to the design, application, and sale of HVAC systems, building controls, and related services. You will work alongside experienced account managers to understand the full lifecycle of sales engineering projects.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with sales account managers and customers.
- Attend sales meetings, business functions, and service calls to observe the sales process.
- Learn how sales engineers manage projects from start to finish.
- Serve as a daily point-of-contact for customers, helping to develop solutions for commercial and industrial buildings.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program, having completed at least your sophomore year.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- A passion for continuous learning in technical fields.
- A valid driver license held for at least 12 months, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
