About the role#
This is a 12-week summer internship program designed to develop your technical, business, and leadership skills. You will work alongside a Project Manager to execute construction projects, focusing on energy-efficient building solutions. This role provides hands-on experience in project execution and offers a potential pathway to our Graduate Training Program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Plan and coordinate assigned projects, establish schedules, and set procedures to meet system objectives.
- Work with the engineering team to support programming and material selection.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining operations budgets by monitoring expenses and forecasted costs.
- Prepare sub-contractor requests for quotations (RFQ) and supervise subcontractor work.
- Communicate with contractors, owners, and team members regarding project scope, budgets, and performance.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program throughout the internship.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year before the start of the summer internship.
- Academic background in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
- A valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with a clean driving record.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
