About the role#
This Automation Engineering Co-op position offers hands-on experience with HVAC systems, engineering problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration in a research and development laboratory environment. You will work on a rolling basis to support the development and validation of climate control technologies.
What you'll do#
- Support the development, testing, and validation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning products.
- Work with engineers and laboratory staff to set up experiments and collect test data.
- Analyze test data, document results, and help improve product performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Assist with prototype evaluation and troubleshoot test setups.
- Maintain accurate records while following laboratory safety and quality procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of an engineering degree, specifically in Mechanical, Computer, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- A cumulative overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- U.S. citizenship or the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work effectively with others.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and identifying the causes of operational issues.
Location & details#
- This position is located in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
- The role is hybrid. You will work on-site Monday through Thursday, with the option to choose your work location on Fridays.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
