About the role#
As an intern on the IFI Application team, you will contribute to the software layer that bridges user interfaces with our core trading systems. You will work alongside technologists and business experts to maintain business logic and ensure a high-quality user experience. The program includes project-based work and opportunities to explore how AI and emerging technologies apply to our business processes.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with technologists and business experts on active projects.
- Build and maintain the software layer that handles user interactions.
- Manage business logic within our trading systems.
- Explore new applications for AI and emerging technologies.
- Build a professional network through guidance from team members and peer collaboration.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of an undergraduate or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of C and C++.
- A solid grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Interest or background in building large-scale, real-time, and distributed applications.
- Ability to work independently and within a small team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to take ownership of your work.
