About the role#
This 11-week internship program provides hands-on experience in Distribution Center operations. You will work alongside experienced leaders to learn the daily processes that support our stores and customers. The program focuses on building skills in supply chain management and operations leadership, serving as a pathway for future roles like Distribution Center Supervisor. You will work a full-time, 40-hour-per-week schedule.
What you'll do#
- Gain experience in product flow, productivity, quality, and safety.
- Partner with Distribution Center leaders and team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Analyze operational challenges and recommend solutions to improve performance.
- Contribute to projects focused on operational efficiency and safety.
- Develop leadership skills by communicating expectations and building relationships within the warehouse.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated leadership experience from work, internships, campus organizations, or extracurricular activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to relocate to and reside in the Navarre, OH area for the duration of the program.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
