About the role#
This 11-week internship program is based at the Tractor Supply Company Distribution Center in Waverly, Nebraska. It is a full-time, on-site role beginning in May 2027. You will work alongside HR and Operations leaders to gain hands-on experience with the Team Member lifecycle, including recruiting, training, and policy compliance.
What you'll do#
- Support the communication and consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Partner with HR leaders to address Team Member questions and workplace matters.
- Analyze workforce data, exit interview feedback, and other HR metrics to identify trends.
- Assist with recruiting activities, including reviewing applications, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Coordinate and facilitate training and development activities for Distribution Center staff.
- Support new hire orientation and partner with leadership on safety-related initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to relocate to and reside in the Waverly, NE area for the duration of the internship.
