About the role#
This internship offers a chance to build professional sales skills in the retail apparel industry. You will work 8 hours per week from January 19th through March 12th, 2027. This role is hybrid and provides exposure to real-world prospecting and client communication.
What you'll do#
- Book appointments with qualified leads over the phone.
- Use prospecting tools to find and create new selling opportunities.
- Learn the fundamentals of a professional sales career.
- Work with local and national interns while receiving guidance from experienced sales mentors.
- Participate in corporate training sessions via Zoom and weekly small group calls.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at James Madison University with a graduation date by Summer 2027.
- A competitive spirit and a willingness to work outside your comfort zone.
- A growth mindset and the ability to thrive in a high-accountability environment.
- Availability to attend two in-person workshops on campus and Friday live Zoom sessions.
