About the role#
The Tom James Company provides custom clothing to professionals at their homes or offices. This internship offers experience in professional sales, focusing on prospecting and communication skills. You will work 8 hours per week from January 19th through March 12th, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Book appointments with qualified leads over the phone.
- Use prospecting tools to increase selling opportunities.
- Learn the fundamentals of professional sales.
- Work with local and national interns.
- Receive guidance from experienced sales mentors.
- Participate in weekly small group calls and live corporate training via Zoom.
What you'll need#
- You must be an active student graduating by Summer 2027.
- You must attend the University of Clemson.
- Ability to attend two in-person workshops on campus.
- Ability to attend live Friday Zoom sessions.
- A competitive spirit and a willingness to step out of your comfort zone.
- A growth mindset and the ability to work in a high-accountability environment.
