About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program for students interested in personal wealth management. You will work 40 hours a week at our Dallas Highland Park office. You will rotate through a minimum of three teams, including Client Advisory, Investment, Philanthropy, Trust, or Private Banking. You will be assigned a mentor and receive guidance from various coaches throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Prepare financial analyses for personal wealth management topics like investments, tax planning, and insurance.
- Update client financial information, including balance sheets and quarterly reports.
- Complete client-specific projects such as real estate and private equity evaluations.
- Conduct investment research and review current or potential asset managers.
- Compile and analyze historical financial data.
- Perform due diligence on charities.
- Learn the essentials of trust administration, operations, and banking services.
What you'll need#
- You are an active Junior or Senior college student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
- Your graduation date is on or before May 2028.
- You hold a minimum GPA of 3.3.
- You have strong financial analytical skills and a grasp of basic financial concepts.
- You are proficient in Windows-based software, specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- You have a genuine interest in growing your career within personal wealth management.
