About the role#
This summer internship provides an opportunity to join the Water Business Line in Shelton, Connecticut. You will work on infrastructure projects across the Northeast, focusing on drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. This is a full-time, paid position that operates in a hybrid work environment.
What you'll do#
- Support project teams by gathering data, performing analysis, and preparing documentation.
- Complete engineering calculations to assist with various project needs.
- Help staff with study, design, and construction tasks, including potential field assignments.
- Attend the annual Tighe & Bond Intern Day.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor program for Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
- Completion of at least 2 years of college coursework.
- Prior internship experience in engineering, design, or consulting.
- A curious mindset and a desire to solve engineering problems.
- Flexibility and a positive attitude.
- Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or SolidWorks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Location: Shelton, Connecticut.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $21.00 to $29.00 per hour, based on completed years of education.
