About the role#
This co-op position supports control system projects by assisting with hardware and software design, development, integration, and testing. You will work under the direction of project leads and senior staff to support our customer base in the automation machinery manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Build expertise in HMI development and PLC programming.
- Assist the team during system installation and commissioning.
- Gain experience with CAD tools and basic control system design.
- Develop an understanding of electrical, mechanical, and IT network infrastructure.
- Practice procedures defined in the Quality Management System.
- Proof-read your own documentation and handle basic troubleshooting.
- Communicate project status to customers and identify potential scope creep.
- Complete tasks on schedule and within budget.
- Seek guidance from senior staff and independently study relevant technologies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and Office tools.
- Strong hands-on mechanical capabilities.
- A valid driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

- This is an on-site position based in East Windsor, New Jersey.
- This is a paid, full-time co-op role with a rolling term.
