About the role#
This co-op position serves as a pipeline for future leadership talent at Thermo Fisher Scientific. We look for students who show high performance and potential, with the possibility of transitioning into full-time roles or Leadership Development Programs after graduation. This role requires you to work on-site in an office environment.
What you'll do#
- Support daily team activities and projects by working with various stakeholders.
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and documentation.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to gain exposure to business operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
- Proven leadership experience in areas like athletics, student organizations, community service, or military service.
- A track record of influencing others, driving results, and leading initiatives.
- Ability to solve complex problems and adapt to changing priorities.
- Grit, resilience, and curiosity.
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Location: Marietta, Ohio.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Term: Rolling.
- Compensation: Paid position with an hourly rate between $18.50 and $28.75.
- Relocation: A $5,000 stipend is available for eligible students located more than 50 miles from the work site.
