About the role#
As a Technical Program Management Intern, you will bridge the gap between complex engineering execution and strategic business objectives. You will work alongside senior program managers and engineering leaders to structure, optimize, and drive operational initiatives at Thea Energy.
What you'll do#
- Partner with TPM leads to establish program frameworks, roadmap schedules, and resource plans.
- Identify operational bottlenecks across engineering, physics, and manufacturing workflows.
- Implement process improvements using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Facilitate collaboration among engineering, physics, and manufacturing departments.
- Provide program updates to leadership and stakeholders regarding progress, technical challenges, and solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time MBA program, with plans to return to school after the internship.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3 to 5 years of prior full-time work experience in engineering, technical project management, or operations management.
- Ability to work in a facility with industrial hazards such as heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and perform activities like typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods.
