About the role#
K1 Investment Management is hiring an Analyst for the Diligence team in Manhattan Beach, California. This is a full-time, paid position starting in Fall 2027. You will work on-site as part of the investment team, evaluating new opportunities and working with portfolio companies.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate new investments and identify value creation levers.
- Build financial models and run proprietary analyses.
- Present potential investments to the Investment Committee.
- Collaborate with finance teams at portfolio companies to develop budgets.
- Coordinate data collection and diligence sessions with co-investors and lenders.
- Work across deal, finance, accounting, legal, and operations teams.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree and a strong academic record.
- Excellent analytical, strategic, and implementation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- High attention to detail, ethics, and integrity.
- A proactive, results-oriented approach to problem solving.
- Majors in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration are preferred.
