About the role#
The Washington Trust Company is offering a full-time, paid internship within the Wealth Management Operations team. This role provides hands-on experience in the financial services industry by supporting the daily activities and operational workflows that enable the delivery of wealth management solutions.
What you'll do#
- Support the daily activities, projects, and initiatives of the Wealth Management Operations team.
- Ensure the efficient processing of client transactions, account maintenance, and reporting.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the department.
- Collaborate with seasoned professionals and interact with senior leadership.
- Engage in various training topics and gain exposure to different areas of the business.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of or completion of a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with a focus on Excel.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during standard business hours.
- A desire to learn and gain experience in wealth management.

- Compensation: The estimated base salary range is $39,520 to $41,600 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
