About the role#
The Wealth Management Operations Intern will support the daily activities of the Wealth Management Operations team at The Washington Trust Company. This full-time, paid position provides hands-on experience in financial services, focusing on the operational workflows that support client service and wealth management solutions.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operational activities, including the processing of client transactions and account maintenance.
- Assist with reporting and departmental projects.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the team.
- Collaborate with seasoned professionals and interact with senior leadership.
- Participate in a variety of training topics and professional development opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of or completion of a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to the office in Westerly, Rhode Island.
