About the role#
The FX Content and Editorial team creates AV marketing materials for program launches and branding projects. As an intern, you will work with a Senior Writer/Producer to learn how a campaign develops from initial concepts to final assets. You will be expected to share your point of view, ask questions, and help the team stay organized throughout the process.
What you'll do#
- Watch episodes to create accurate logs with timecodes, noting dialogue, images, and story beats.
- Participate in brainstorms and share your perspective on creative angles.
- Track assets and notes to ensure the team has current information.
- Assist with writing and revising promo scripts, copy, and other creative materials.
- Collaborate with producers and team members while incorporating feedback into your work.
- Research industry trends and new technologies to support content development.
What you'll need#
- Demonstrated interest in storytelling, television, trailers, or creative marketing.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills and experience using feedback to improve your work.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate proactively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, preferably as a Junior or Senior majoring in film, marketing, or creative writing.
- At least 18 years of age with unrestricted work authorization.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time internship located in Burbank, California.
- The program runs from January 2027 through June 2027.
- You must be available to work 40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional nights and weekends required.
- You are responsible for providing your own housing and transportation in the Burbank area.
- The pay rate for this position is $23.00 per hour.
